Donors & Supporters
We have a really supportive group of teenage mothers who work for us. Each one of them has experienced both the joys and hardships of being a young mother.
Some of our mothers are in relationships with the father of their children, many are not. Some have the support of their families, some do not. There will always be someone who can relate to your situation, whether it is the struggle to continue education, being kicked out of home, the hardships of living on benefits, having trouble with authorities or having to handle a difficult or abusive home situation.
Our peer educators often meet outside of work socially and hang out together with their families. Working for Straight Talking is a good way to meet new friends and a great way to get into employment. We are flexible and understand the problems of being a young mother - like childcare—and we work together to make sure that opportunities are open to you.
When I began working for Straight Talking I found everyone supportive and welcoming, they encouraged me to apply for my current role.
