Kirstie ThomasPeer Educator East London
Kirstie is from Newham and has three boys Daejon, Asher and Ar-mani who keep her very busy. She begun training as a midwife be-fore the birth of her last child and is now on a break until Armani is a little older.
"Working as a Peer Educator works for me while my son is young because the sessional work is flexible. I can stay in employment and not have a break in my cv while learning some new skills."

Zoe is from Brent. She was 18 when she gave birth to her daughter Ella, who is now five and has just started school.
‘Being a parent at such a young age, you need to grow up very quickly. Working at Straight Talking has done just that for me in many different ways. Letting me share my knowledge with teenagers, tell my story and develop into the woman and mother I want to me.’

Anjelica lives in Dagenham and has a daughter named Shekhinah. They enjoy as much time together as possible going to movies and spoiling themselves with some pampering from time to time!
Kaschelle MayPeer Educator West London
Kaschelle lives in Acton and enjoys cooking, reading and swimming. She has a wonderful four year old daughter who like swimming too.

Candiece have a two year old son who she absolutely adores. She enjoys listening to music, riding a bikes and reading.
‘I enjoy my role as a Peer Educator because I get to meet lots of new people and improve on my people skills. I also get a real satisfaction out of being able to control a classroom effectively.’

Sumo has worked for us as a Peer Educator since 2012 and has spearheaded many of Straight Talking’s young Dad initiatives.
Sumo has a wonderful son Sanchez, enjoys writing poetry and is a keen cyclist.

Shekel has been a peer educator since 2014. He has one son, name, who is 2.
